Disco Lepers are rabid scums from London who play absolute raw punk rock, totally lo-fi, no frills abrasive rock 'n' roll. Formed in 2005 and include members and ex-members of other London punk bands such as The Jabbs, Botox Rats, Black Beach Union, Blacklist Brigade, Capitol Targets and Shanghai Wires.
The Disco Lepers wild style is deliberately at least 25 years behind the times, this is band that doesn't believe in pushing the punk envelope, their aim is to bring the old fashioned raw soul that once existed in the scene back and they don't do it to gain any points, this is for themselves because they know no other way.
2007 sees the release of their debut and much anticipated full-length "The Girls Of Cholera" released on London's No Front Teeth Records (run by members of the band) and Germany's Matula Records as well as a couple of 7's so be prepared to have your throat ripped open by this feral band who are not afraid to provoke and incite through obnoxious and vulgar lyrics and chainsaw guitars.
Often described as "Killed By Death" style punk rock, the band have their own tag of "Cancer Punk" that is determined to kill the weak bullshit in the scene and cover it with malignant tumors until it's unrecognisable. Let's hope they succeed catch the leprosy beat.
